Study teaching. Study students. Strengthen the decisions that make the difference. Learning a CIM intervention is the beginning—not the end—of the work. CIM provides a powerful framework grounded in research and evidence-based practices, but teachers must bring that framework to life through careful observation, responsive teaching, reflection, and ongoing decision-making. Coaching provides the opportunity to work alongside a CIM trainer to make that happen. CIM coaching is designed around the teacher, the students, and the evidence of learning. Coaching may include observing intervention lessons, studying student data and work, planning instruction, examining teacher decisions, and reflecting on what students are showing us. Together, we ask: *What are students learning? *What are we noticing? *How are our instructional decisions affecting student learning? *What prompts, questions, or scaffolds might move learning forward? *What should we try next? Coaching Options Coaching is available as a half-day or full-day experience, either on-site or virtually. Coaching can be designed for an individual teacher, interventionist, coach, or a team. Schools may choose to focus on: *A particular student or group of students *Strengthening implementation of a CIM intervention *Observing and analyzing intervention teaching *Using student data and work to guide instruction *Developing responsive prompting and scaffolding *Strengthening teacher reflection and planning forward *Connecting research and professional knowledge to instructional decisions Coaching can stand alone or complement participation in the CIM Advance Study Series. The Study Series provides the professional community; coaching provides individualized support for applying the learning. Investment Half-day coaching: $625 Full-day coaching: $1,250 On-site coaching outside the local area may include additional travel expenses.
