Description

The Wisconsin Network of Literacy Administrators provides administrators and literacy directors with an opportunity to build on their learning from the Comprehensive Literacy Learning Network (CLLN) and consider its implications for leadership and implementation. Each meeting begins with a brief review of the key ideas from the previous CLLN learning. The conversation then shifts to application: What does this learning mean for us as leaders? How does it influence the ways we support teachers, shape professional learning, and create the conditions for effective literacy instruction in our schools? Grounded in the 10 Features of a Comprehensive Literacy Model, participants will engage in collaborative discussion, problem-solving, and reflection around the opportunities and challenges of implementation. The network provides a space for leaders to learn from one another, examine their own contexts, and develop practical approaches for moving the Transformational Teaching Model from professional learning into schoolwide practice.
